To commission me, please contact me through my email ([email protected], link at the end of the page) using the subject line "[@user handle] commission request [month/year]". Please include the following information on your request:1. Your social media info – (optional) your user handles that you'd like me to tag once the commission is done;
2. Commission description – type of commission, how many characters, written description of said characters (features, color palette, clothing, etc.), written description of the general picture (pose, composition, color scheme, background, etc.). You may attach up to 3 reference files initially (more may be asked during the creation process) – moodboards really help!Feel free to leave some of these details to me if you'd like! Detailed descriptions are also always welcome, and bullet points and moodboards are preferred as they make checking information easier.
After your request is accepted and the initial payment is processed, I will get back to you to confirm the start of the work. Usually I'll email you with progress shots at the following stages of the illustration:1. Rough sketch – so you can get an idea of the pose and overall composition. This is the stage where most alterations may be requested! Once I start on the lineart, any major edits will cost extra;
2. Lineart – the finished lineart. You may request minor alterations at this point free of charge, but any larger points that were not part of the original request will cost extra;
3. Flat colors – so you can see how the color scheme is going. You may request some color alterations if you like at this point;
4. Final check-in – the finished illustration. At this stage, you may ask for very minor alterations or some color corrections, but any larger edits that were not part of the original request will cost extra. After this check-in, I'll then send you the final files of the commissioned work.The rough sketch may be fully redone twice. If I happen to forget any details that were part of the original commission request, or in case I portray them in a way that goes against your original description (you described something as a circle and I made it a square, for example), that edit will be done free of charge.Once the work is done, you'll receive the full-resolution PNG file of the illustration and may request any other desired format as well.
